SALVAGING STRICTLY PROHIBITED – TRANSFER STATION
The District Council of Peterborough advises that salvaging of any kind is strictly prohibited at the Transfer Station.
The Transfer Station is DROP-OFF ONLY.
No salvaging
No removing items once deposited No exceptions
Salvaging presents a serious Work Health and Safety (WHS) risk, including but not limited to:
* injury from sharp or hazardous materials
* unstable loads and machinery movements
* risk to staff, contractors, and other site users
Failure to comply may result in removal from the site and fines being incurred.
This requirement is in place to protect the safety of staff, contractors, and the community and will be strictly enforced.
