Australia Day is an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the people, places, communities and experiences that make Australia unique.
Across the country, communities come together to recognise the contributions of individuals and groups and celebrate the diverse stories that shape our nation.
Each year, the District Council of Peterborough working with the Districts Lions Club and Rotary Club of Peterborough hosts an Australia Day breakfast at the Town Hall and presentation of the Australia Day Awards. The event provides an opportunity for the Peterborough community to come together and recognise local achievements and celebrate our community.
