Acting CEO appointed following resignation of former CEO Leanne Babic
At a Special Council Meeting last week, the Mayor, Ruth Whittle and the Councillors unanimously endorsed the appointment of Mr Kristen Clark as the Acting Chief Executive Officer following the resignation of former CEO Leanne Babic.
Mr Clark comes with extensive experience across several regional councils both large and small, and with a strong financial background, is committed to working immediately on the 25/26 budget process, Asset planning and with the Council and Community.
We welcome the Acting CEO Kristen Clark, who brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience as a local government CEO. With excellent knowledge and technical capabilities in corporate and infrastructure delivery, we are confident in maintaining business as usual for our district” said Mayor Ruth Whittle.
Mr Clark will support the council to maintain business as usual until the recruitment process is completed and a new CEO is appointed. This process will commence immediately.
